Emily Gupton is a forward-thinking technology and operations executive with a multidisciplinary background and a passion for driving meaningful innovation. As Chief Technology and Operations Officer at SKG in Austin, Texas, she oversees the company’s operations, architectural, and technology divisions, aligning digital strategy, AI strategy, and operational infrastructure with business growth at one of the largest woman-owned businesses in Texas.

Emily also serves as Chief Operations Officer at FOLIO, a SaaS platform she helped build and launch within SKG’s family of companies. Her leadership helped take FOLIO from concept to operational reality, offering scalable tech solutions for the commercial furniture industry. Emily’s career journey reflects her adaptability and vision, having made three major professional pivots, from radiology to commercial construction to executive leadership in tech, each marked by her ability to lead high-performing teams across industries and disciplines.

Emily is deeply engaged in the Austin community. She serves as Board President of Austin Women in Technology, a Board Member and Community Engagement Co-Chair for Workforce Solutions Capital Area, and an Advisory Board Member for Truist Bank. Her impact has also been recognized through multiple honors, including being named an Austin Woman Magazine Changemaker (2024) and a Women in Business Awards Nominee by the Austin Business Journal (2023, 2025). She holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Neuroscience and Business from the University of Texas at Dallas, an MBA from Texas Woman’s University, and most recently completed a program in Digital Transformation at MIT. In her personal time, Emily finds energy in travel, quality time with loved ones, and training for her next triathlon, living her belief in balance, resilience, and continuous growth.
