Lucia Wood is a seasoned and strategic Human Resources executive with over two decades of experience leading people operations across industries. As Vice President of Human Resources at SKG, she has built the company’s HR function from the ground up, establishing robust systems for benefits, payroll, workplace policy, and employee relations, while fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and performance.

Lucia is SHRM-SCP certified, holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics from Universidad Nacional de Rosario, and is a court-certified interpreter, credentials that reflect her deep commitment to effective communication and cultural understanding within organizations. Her background equips her to navigate complex organizational dynamics and translate strategic vision into operational reality, particularly during periods of growth and transformation.

At SKG, she plays a critical role on the Executive Team, serving as both a strategic advisor and an empathetic leader. Her leadership has been instrumental in cultivating a workplace consistently recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Austin. With a focus on aligning people, purpose, and performance, Lucia champions initiatives that support employee development and elevate company-wide impact.

Outside of work, Lucia is an engaged member of the Austin SHRM community, continually bringing forward best practices to support organizational success, and a committed advocate for children through her work with CASA. She enjoys reading, playing pickleball, and spending time with her family, values that mirror her belief in leading a balanced, intentional life.
